Prep like a Pro – Making the most of your 55 Day Aged Beef Fillet
This week, our Master Butcher’s have hand selected 55 Day Aged Whole New Zealand Beef Fillets for you to enjoy at the special price of $54.90/kg
Also know as Tenderloin, this long, lean cut is the most tender cut of beef. Known for its soft, buttery texture and mild flavour, and is quick to cook. The ageing process only adds to the superior tenderness and enhanced flavour of the Beef.
Perfect to create a Beef Wellington, or to cut into delicious tender steaks.
Butcher’s Tip: Rub the fillet with oil before searing on all four sides for 1-2 minutes in a hot pan to achieve a brown crust packed with flavour.
Move to the oven and cook low and slow for maximum tenderness.
