Club Sandwich

per sandwich


  • 2 slices bread, toasted
  • 30g cold roast chicken shredded
  • 2 rashers streaky bacon
  • lettuce
  • tomatoes, sliced thick
  • mayonnaise
  • salt & pepper to taste


  1. Preheat a fry pan, and cook streaky bacon.
  2. While bacon is cooking, toast bread and shred cold roast, prepare lettuce by washing and patting dry, and slicing tomato.
  3. Remove bacon from the pan when cooked, and let to rest on paper towels.
  4. Remove toast from toaster and stand while it cools slightly (if making sandwiches for picnic, wait for all warm ingredients to cool).
  5. Spread mayonnaise on toast, and layer bacon, lettuce, tomato and chicken.
